I've built several PCs, and I'm really stuck on this one. My diagnostics LEDs are showing a red light for the CPU, and I've tried a bunch of things to fix it: I've reseated the RAM multiple times, updated the BIOS using the BIOS FLBK method, tested a different power supply, reconnected all the cables, and reset the CMOS before updating the BIOS again. I'm looking for any advice because I'd hate to think there's an issue with the motherboard or CPU, but I want to rule out all other possibilities first.

Just to add, since you've already tested a different PSU, I suggest trying another CPU if you have access to one. It's rare, but sometimes CPUs can be faulty right out of the box. Double-checking connections is key too!
It sounds like you've done a thorough job troubleshooting already! If the issue popped up on the very first power on, it's possible that something isn't seated correctly or there's a compatibility issue. Have you checked the motherboard manual for any specific jumpers or settings that might need adjustment?
Great point! Sometimes those little details can make a huge difference. Also, did you double-check that your CPU power connector is properly plugged in? That can easily be overlooked.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely consider trying another CPU if I can.
