I recently upgraded parts of my main PC and now I'm planning to use some of the salvaged components to build a low to mid-range PC for my wife, who is getting into gaming. She mainly enjoys indie games and occasionally plays AAA titles. I'm aiming for a performance of 1080p at 30fps, which should be sufficient for her needs. I'm looking for feedback on any potential issues with my current build and any low-cost upgrades I might be overlooking. Thank you!

You might consider switching to a micro ATX case like the Fractal Pop or 207. It'll be a bit larger, but could save you around £30.
I'll definitely look into that! I was starting to feel like I was going for a massive jump in size when moving away from the HTPC case. Thanks for your suggestion!
