I'm in a bit of a panic! In a moment of frustration, I slammed my hand down on my desk hard, and now my computer is acting weird. After I did that, my screen froze up, and when I tried to restart it by holding down the power button, nothing seemed to work. Now the power button just keeps flashing, and the monitor says "no input" despite everything being connected. The fans and lights are working fine, which makes me think the hardware is still okay, but I can't shake the feeling that I might have caused some damage. I don't think it's a monitor issue since I checked that separately. I'm really hoping I just knocked something loose but I'm not very tech savvy. Is it safe for me to open up the case and check for any disconnections, especially since my computer is on a carpet?

It sounds like something inside might have come loose, especially if you slammed your desk. I’d recommend checking all your power cables, as well as your GPU and RAM connections. Sometimes, just reseating those can solve the issue.
