While I was switching HDMI cables on my GPU, I accidentally touched the heatsink and got a small static shock. Now my GPU, an RX 6700 XT, isn't displaying any video, and the fans only run for a short time. Could that static have killed my GPU? Is there any way to fix it?

It's really unlikely that static shock did it. It sounds more like your GPU might be loose or there's an issue with the cable. Try reseating the GPU and all your connections. And if you can, test it in another system to see if it works there. If it still doesn't display, it could be a different issue.
I tried in another rig and it still didn't work. Also, I found out that the socket lock broke when I removed it. I switched the BIOS settings too, but nothing changed.
