Did I Get the Wrong Power Supply?

I bought a Cooler Master MWE Bronze v3 750W power supply and received the 230V version instead of the 240V one I expected. Is there a significant difference that I should worry about? I paid €55 for it—is it worth going through the hassle of returning it for the 240V version? By the way, I found out that the standard version is rated B on the PSU tier list, while the 230V version is rated C-.

There are two listings on the PSU tier list. The version you got is just optimized for 220-240V regions, but it’s still rated just fine. You won’t notice a difference in performance.

Exactly! It just means it's a bit more efficient for those who use the 220-240V grids.

You're fine, both versions are essentially the same. They can operate within a voltage range of 100 to 240V without any issues. Just check the specs on their site for confirmation.

Is the plug different? To me, 230V and 240V seem interchangeable. In the US, we mix up 110 and 120 all the time. But I'd say you're good either way!

The plug is indeed the same.

Exactly, in most cases, a house wired for 230V usually has a tolerance that goes up to 240V.

It’s really just a naming difference. The power supply will work without any problems. It’s designed to function with voltages down to 200V, so you shouldn’t have any worries.
