Did I Install My AM4 CPU Wrong?

I'm really curious if I made a mistake while installing my AM4 CPU. I followed a slightly different order than what's commonly recommended. Most guides say to lift the socket lever first, place the CPU, and then push the lever down. However, I placed the CPU in first and then lifted the lever to secure it. My PC is running fine, even under load, but I do notice my idle temps are a bit higher (45-50°C), possibly due to using the stock cooler. The CPU is a Ryzen 5 5600, and it's installed on an MSI B550 Pro-VHD motherboard. I'm just wondering if I potentially messed something up.

From what I understand, the CPU should have a zero-insertion-force when putting it in, meaning it shouldn't fit easily with the lever down. If you were able to drop it in without pushing, it sounds like you might have done okay. Did it feel like it dropped in place?

No, it seemed to drop in smoothly when I lifted the lever, so I guess I just did the steps out of order.
