I just built my first PC, and I accidentally installed the CPU cooler with the fan facing downwards. Should I fix it and turn the fan upwards, or is it okay to leave it as is?

If possible, post a picture of your setup! It might help others see what's going on and give you better advice. Just remember, optimal airflow is key in a PC build!

Yeah, you should definitely rotate the fan 180 degrees so that it aligns with the airflow of the rest of your system. Typically, the cooler's fan should exhaust air out the back of the case. When you take it off, make sure to clean off the old thermal paste and apply a new layer. This helps improve thermal transfer since air bubbles can get trapped otherwise.
