Did I Just Get Malware from a Popup on Instagram?

I came across a popup while scrolling through Instagram, and it really freaked me out. I took a screenshot to have a record, just in case. I'm worried I might have been hacked or that I've got a virus or malware on my device. I haven't clicked on any links that I know of. What should my next steps be? Is this message legit?

Here’s the screenshot you shared. Just a heads-up, popups can happen for various reasons. It might not be malware at all. Have you noticed if this is just on IG or other apps too? That can help figure it out.

It sounds like this popup could be a result of your phone's data plan running low. If you're with Airtel, they might do something like this. You can verify it through their app or official website. Just don’t jump to conclusions; it might just be a harmless spam alert.

If you're worried about malware, the first thing to do is to not panic. It could just be a spam popup. You can check out some malware removal guides online. Stay vigilant, and make sure to run any security checks if you're really concerned.
