Did I Really Get a Virus from Mangago?

I was browsing Mangago.me to read Banana Fish (I swear I'm not a creep!) when I clicked on a story and was redirected to a suspicious tab claiming I had a virus. It looked pretty official, saying it was from Apple Support or something similar. But I thought Mangago.me was a safe site. I'm confused about whether I actually have a virus. How can I tell if my phone is infected, and if I do have a virus, how quickly would it spread? Thanks in advance!

You're right to be cautious, but this is a common scam. Just make sure you have a reliable browser with built-in ad blockers to keep those annoying pop-ups at bay.

What browsers have those features?

Chill out! This happens a lot. These are just tricks to get you to click on malicious links; it doesn't mean your phone is really infected. Just be smart about what you click on next time.

You probably don't have a virus. Those pop-ups are just scams designed to trick you into thinking you need to act. Just ignore them! They’re all lies.

Thanks for the reassurance, but honestly, I'm still feeling pretty freaked out!
