Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600 with a 6950 XT, and I've noticed my CPU temps hitting around 80°C while gaming, which seems a bit high. I've got three front intake fans and two exhaust fans already set up. Right now, I'm using the stock cooler that came with the CPU. I'm wondering whether I should invest in a better CPU cooler or an AIO system, or if I could just add another fan to improve cooling. What do you all think?

For sure, upgrading to something like a 120mm Thermalright AIO could really help. I used one with a Ryzen 9 for a while, and it did great overall. It’s compact, quiet, and pretty affordable too!
Honestly, the stock cooler should be fine for your setup. But if you're looking for better temps and a quieter performance, you might want to consider a budget air cooler in the $20–$35 range. An AIO isn't necessary for a Ryzen 5600.
Have you checked what bothers you more: the temperatures or the noise? 80°C is fine for your CPU during gaming. If the noise is the issue, getting a better cooler could really help. A simple upgrade like a Phantom Spirit 120 SE would work well.
If you're aiming for lower temps, I'd definitely recommend getting an aftermarket CPU cooler. Something like a Thermalright or Id-Cooling SE214XT costs under $20 and could lower your temps by at least 10°C compared to your stock cooler.
You're not damaging anything with 80°C, it's a little warm for sure but completely normal. Just make sure that the stock cooler is actually running and doing its job!
Exactly! Those budget coolers offer great performance without breaking the bank.
