I have a Corsair RM 750e power supply, but I need a 16-pin connection for my new 5070 GPU. Right now, I only have an 8-pin connector and an extra 8-pin that has 2 pins hanging off. I also have a CPU cable and a 6-pin to 3-pin adapter. When I try to test if the PSU will work with the GPU, the current GPU doesn't power on with the 8-pin cord, and the two-pinned cord doesn't seem to fit anywhere properly on the PSU either. I'm worried that if I don't figure this out, the GPU won't power on tomorrow. Is there something I'm missing or a specific cable I should be looking for?

It sounds like you're looking for a specific cable that supports a 16-pin connection for your GPU. Corsair sells these type of cables separately, and you can also find compatible knockoffs online. Check out this link to the official product: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-components-accessories/CP-8920284/600w-pcie-5-0-12v-2x6-type-4-psu-power-cable-cp-8920284. Just be cautious when opting for third-party cables, as quality can vary.
Quick question: would this setup actually power on the GPU? [https://imgur.com/a/3wUXnJG](https://imgur.com/a/3wUXnJG) That could help others understand what you're working with.

I googled the RM 750e specs, and it seems it should come with the necessary cables. Maybe you're not using the right connector? Also, double-check your PSU for any slots that might look like a fit for that 16-pin!
