I'm using a Jonsbo Z20 case and wondering if I should add intake fans at the bottom under my GPU. Will the GPU fans be sufficient on their own, or would having extra fans help improve airflow and cooling?

Adding bottom fans won't hurt, but if your case has good front-to-back airflow, they might not be necessary. If your PSU is at the front, having them could really help out.
I really don't think you'll see much difference. Even in cases designed for airflow, like the Fractal North Mesh, extra fans near the GPU only drop temps by 1-2°C at most.
The GPU can manage on its own, but if the bottom of your case is open, adding a fan there will improve airflow and might lower your temps slightly.

I think 2°C is actually a decent gain for a couple of fans. Every little bit helps!
