Hey everyone! I have a quick question about RAM compatibility. I'm curious if I need to find the exact SKU of a RAM product that is listed as supported by my motherboard and CPU combination. I've been searching for a specific SKU, but I keep coming across variations that differ by a single letter. Can you help me understand where to find the exact SKU? And, does it really matter if there's just a small difference like that?

It usually doesn't matter much if your RAM isn't on the QVL (Qualified Vendor List). The QVL just means the motherboard manufacturer didn't test that exact part number, but it doesn't mean it won't work. Plus, just because something's on the list doesn’t guarantee it will perform well when overclocked! That one-letter difference can mean a lot of different things depending on the brand's naming conventions, so don't stress too much about it.
