Do I Need to Upgrade My Motherboard and Power Supply After CPU and GPU Upgrades?

I've upgraded my GPU from a 3060 to a 3070, and now I'm switching from a Ryzen 5 5600X to a Ryzen 7 7700X. Should I also upgrade my motherboard and power supply to support these changes? If needed, what recommendations do you have? My current motherboard is an ASUS Prime B550-Plus, and my power supply is an EVGA 600 Watt Gold 80 Plus.

To push that new CPU, you must swap out your motherboard because it won’t fit with your current one. Check out your power supply too; just make sure it has the right wattage for your new setup.

You'll definitely need to upgrade your motherboard if you're moving to the Ryzen 7 7700X since it's a different socket. As for the power supply, it really depends on the specific model you'll choose for your setup.
