I've been getting a message prompting me to "update Google Play services" every time I open certain apps. The thing is, I believe it's already updated. My messaging issues have sorted themselves out, but I'm still stuck with this notification on the top of my screen. Is there anyone who can help me clear this up?

It sounds like you're experiencing a glitch! Sometimes, even if Google Play services are up to date, the notification can still pop up due to app conflicts or system issues. Try clearing the cache for Google Play services and see if that helps.
I had the same issue with my Pixel 6! Clearing the cache worked wonders for me too. Just go to your settings, find Google Play services under apps, and clear the cache.
