I'm using an HP laptop that has Windows 10 installed but only has 58GB of storage available. I want to use Linux Mint from a USB drive, but I've heard conflicting advice about needing two USB drives. Is it actually possible to do this with just one USB drive (I've got a 128GB one)?

You can definitely run Linux from a single USB without any problems while still keeping Windows on your laptop's internal storage. Just be aware, that 58GB for Windows 10 is pretty tight and might slow things down a bit.
It's totally doable to run a Live version of Mint from one USB. But if you're looking to install Mint onto a USB, you'd need a second one. If you're interested, check out VENTOY. It helps you run Live Mint with persistence from one USB, but do keep in mind that running an OS off a USB can wear it out faster. Make sure to back it up!
Hey! Just wanted to chime in that if you're looking for more resources, there are some great migration tips and guides available online that could walk you through the process. Just remember, when using live systems, keep an eye on how much data you're writing to that USB!
