I'm a third-year engineering student and I'm wondering if getting a Kubernetes certification (CKA) will be beneficial for me as a fresher looking for a job. I currently don't have any internships or job experience. Should I pursue this certification? Will it really help me get a job?

Certifications might not help you much, but they also won't hurt your chances. What really matters is hands-on experience. Try to get into building projects or internships where you can showcase your skills.
It really depends on what job you are targeting. Some high-profile companies might not value certifications much, while smaller companies might see them as a plus. It's more important to network, apply to various roles, and understand your niche.
I think finding a job would be more beneficial than just focusing on certifications. Experience is key.
Getting the cert can be useful, especially if you're studying the tech stack commonly used in cloud environments. It'll give you some practical knowledge, and this can be valuable in interviews, as most questions will focus on the tools and troubleshooting related to Kubernetes. Plus, if you're a student, you might get discounts for the certification, which makes it more worthwhile!
From what I've seen, certifications can be nice to have but they won't necessarily ensure you land a job. In my experience, real-world experience is what employers really look for.
That's true, many job listings mention certifications as a bonus. It could definitely help you stand out!
