Ethernet and WiFi Suddenly Stopped Working After a Crash

I was playing PES 2021 on my PC and didn't notice that other apps were using my GPU in the background. Suddenly, the screen went black and I had to power it off by holding the button. After rebooting, everything seemed normal except for the Ethernet connection, which showed a globe symbol indicating no internet. WiFi isn't working either, even though my mobile devices connect without issues. I've tried everything I could find online, including restarts, but neither Ethernet nor WiFi will work. I even attempted to share my phone's internet to my PC, but it just says it's connected without actual internet access. I'm really stressed out and feeling overwhelmed. Can anyone help me? My PC specs are Ryzen 9 5900X, MSI MPG B550 Gaming Carbon WiFi, 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz RAM, and MSI Ventus 3X 3070 Ti.

If you had an Intel system, I’d recommend using the Intel Driver Assistant to check for network drivers, but since you have a Ryzen processor, that won’t help you. Just make sure to keep your network drivers updated. You can check your motherboard’s website for the latest drivers, just in case something needs updating.

Thanks! I just updated my post with the PC specs after realizing I needed to include them.

I get that this can be super frustrating. First off, don’t let tech issues stress you out too much! Try opening Command Prompt and running the command "ipconfig /all". That will show your network settings, and you can post the results here for us to look at. It might give us a clue about what’s going on with your connections.

Here’s a link showing how to run that command: https://www.lifewire.com/use-ipconfig-to-troubleshoot-network-problems-818205
