Experiencing Frequent BSODs: Help with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hey everyone! I upgraded my PC last month, and since the start of June, I've been hit with several random Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) showing the error code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." I did some troubleshooting already: updated my drivers (there was one missing), checked my RAM with no issues found, and tinkered a bit in the console. However, it crashed again just an hour ago while I was doing nothing intensive. I tried using Bluescreenview, but I'm not really sure how to interpret the results. I came across some info suggesting it might relate to unauthorized memory use, but I'm at a loss for solutions that don't involve wiping my system (which I'd rather avoid if possible). I'll also leave a link to the error dump files if anyone can help interpret them. Thanks!

Make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest version; this can often solve stability issues. Head over to the MSI website to download version 7B86vHN for your motherboard. After that, install the latest AMD chipset drivers from their support page. Stick with the chipset driver; the others can introduce issues sometimes. Check if this helps with the crashes afterwards.

Thanks! I’ll do that. But what if the BIOS update causes more problems? Would rolling back be an option?

To get a better grip on these BSODs, you need to collect those dump files. They hold crash logs that can tell us what went wrong. If you can boot into Windows (or Safe Mode), head to C:WindowsMinidump, and look for any dump files there. If you find them, zip the folder and upload it somewhere like mediafire or catbox.moe so we can take a closer look. Multiple files are great for a thorough analysis—if you only have one, it would be helpful to change your settings to create more small memory dumps in the future.

Got it, I’ll check for those files. Any tips on how to change the dump settings?
