Experiencing PC Freezes: Need Help Choosing a New PSU or GPU

I'm having some serious graphics issues with my PC. Sometimes, I get a fleeting black screen, and while playing games, the graphics freeze up after a while, but the audio continues running. I suspect it might be a power supply or graphics card issue. To troubleshoot, I'm thinking of replacing my power supply first and, if that doesn't help, moving on to a new graphics card.

Right now, I'm eyeing the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB because it offers great performance for the price, especially since I'm planning on switching to a Linux distro. Any tips on which power supply to get or other suggestions would be really appreciated!

Have you tried any software fixes? Like reinstalling your graphics drivers? It could help before you spend on new hardware.

Honestly, I’m curious why you have four 16GB sticks instead of just going for dual channel. Also, did you consider just reinstalling the OS again as a last resort? Could be a clean solution.

Your current power supply seems solid to me, so I'd suggest swapping out the graphics card first to see if that resolves your freezing issue. You might also want to run a quick stability test like Prime95 in Blend mode to check for CPU or RAM problems—if you get errors, that could point to something else needing your attention.
