I recently built a new PC and I've been facing an annoying issue where my screen goes completely black while playing CS2, but the computer itself keeps running. I can still hear Discord notifications and respond to them, but I can't control anything on the screen. I've done quite a bit of troubleshooting already: I've updated Windows and my Nvidia graphics card drivers, run commands like sfc /scannow, and even did a full reset of my system. I've also flashed my BIOS and repaired files, but nothing seems to work. It doesn't look like a hardware problem since I haven't installed many software applications. Here are my specs:
- GPU: 5070 TI
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800x3D
- Mobo: B650-E WiFi
- NVMe: 990 Evo Plus 2 TB
- RAM: Corsair 64 GB DDR5
- PSU: RME1000e

Have you tried rolling back to some previous Nvidia drivers? I had a similar setup, and it really helped me when I faced these black screen issues. Also, disabling G-Sync might help too. Just something to consider!
Check your monitor as well! Sometimes they can have firmware updates that might fix issues like this. Also, how do you know your PC isn't actually receiving input? My keyboard has a backlight, and when I press keys, the lights toggle. Is there anything like that happening on your end?
Yeah, I tried that but it didn't help.
