I've been enrolled in a Software Engineering course for three years now and have consistently achieved high grades. Everyone has celebrated my achievements, including teachers, classmates, and my parents. I just landed a fantastic internship, but I've been feeling incredibly out of my depth. It seems like I'm the least knowledgeable person in the room despite my academic success. My supervisor is exceptionally intelligent, and every time they speak, I feel a wave of shame for not grasping what's being discussed. This has led me to realize I haven't actually learned the fundamental concepts of programming as I thought I had. Now, I'm looking for advice on two things: first, where can I find resources to learn these core concepts? And second, what methods can I use to ensure I truly understand what I'm learning and retain that knowledge?
