Hey everyone! I'm a self-taught programmer who started at age 11 and have learned a bunch of languages like Lua, Python, Java, C#, and Bash, with some knowledge of HTML and CSS. Now at 14, I'm doing well in my classes, but I'm unsure about my next steps. I kicked things off with game development on Roblox using Lua and later moved to Unity with C#. However, I've recently been feeling less inspired and had to take a break from programming for a couple of months. I jumped back in, trying to learn Python for computer science, but keeping up with all the libraries has been a bit overwhelming. I gave web development a shot, but that didn't stick, and now I'm back to game dev on Garuda Linux, just dabbling with random languages and customizing my setup with Hyprland. I'm looking for suggestions on what languages to focus on, potential project ideas, or even university degrees that might be worth exploring!

It's all about what truly excites you! There's no universal programming language since each one serves different purposes. Do you want to dive deeper into game development, explore web apps, or even branch into AI or data science? Reflect on your interests and what aspects of programming you enjoy the most. That could guide your next steps significantly!
I never really had a specific interest; I just wanted to create something amazing and get recognized someday. I followed trends and tried new things based on what I found online, but now that I've learned so much, I'm at a loss about what to pursue next.
