I've decided to go with AMD for my gaming setup, and I'm really close to finalizing my build. My budget is around $2,000. Here's what I'm putting together: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, NZXT Kraken 240 RGB cooler, Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX motherboard, G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB RAM, Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB SSD, MSI SHADOW 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, NZXT H6 Flow case, Corsair RM750e power supply, and Windows 11 Home. Any final feedback or suggestions?

You've got a solid build here! Just a couple of things to consider: do you really need a liquid cooler? A good air cooler might be sufficient and save some cash. Also, while the Samsung SSD is great, you might find a cheaper option that performs just as well, like the Crucial P4.

Thanks for your input! I'm leaning towards the AIO since I had issues with overheating in the past. The LCD feature on this cooler is pretty cool too. Any recommendations for HDDs that could match SSD performance?

A Samsung 990 Evo could work well if you're okay with switching!

Just a heads up, NZXT AIOs tend to underperform on AM5 CPUs. Your 7800X3D can run hot, so keep an eye on that. You might want to check out Arctic Liquid Freezer III or Thermalright options instead. Also, remember to double-check if the H6 Flow case has enough room for everything. And, regarding the fans, NZXT's included ones aren't the best; consider swapping them out for something like TL-C12RB-S V2 fans.

Thanks for the detailed advice! I'm trying to save about $150 without losing performance, so this is really helpful.

Your build sounds pretty solid. Just curious, are you planning to buy the case and cooler as a bundle? That cooler's a bit pricey for its performance, though it does have that neat screen. Everything else seems on point!

No bundle—just liked the cooler for its reviews and the LCD display for easy temp checks.
