I've been having a weird issue with Firefox this morning where it keeps redirecting me to a suspicious site, hmsrchrdr.com. It seems like a poorly designed search engine. I'm worried about how this happened and what I can do to stop it. Most importantly, am I in serious trouble here? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I ran into the same issue today! Seems like we're not alone in this.
First off, check your extensions in Firefox settings. Go to Settings > Extensions and look for anything that you don’t recognize or that mentions hmsrchrdr.com. If you find something suspicious, disable or remove it. After that, restart your Firefox and see if the site still pops up.
