First Time Building a PC and Want to Run Linux—Need Driver Help

I'm diving into building my first PC and I'm excited to run Linux as the operating system. Here are my specs: an Asus Proart Z870E creator WiFi motherboard, AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor, MSI Suprim 5090 graphics card, Samsung 990 SSD, and G.Skill Trident Z5 RAM. I've been looking for drivers on the manufacturer's website, but I can't find any listed for Linux, only Windows. From what I've read, Linux should be compatible with my motherboard, but it's confusing since I don't see any Linux-specific downloads available. I'm considering either Ubuntu or Linux Mint. Do I need Windows just to get started, or can I manage everything on Linux? Sorry if this is a dumb question; I just want to learn more. My only experience with Linux has been through virtual machines and a dual boot I did on my Steam Deck.

You’re in luck! Linux supports a vast majority of drivers, so for the most part, you shouldn't have to hunt down many drivers manually. I’d also recommend checking out Bazzite; I’ve heard it’s especially good for newer GPUs like yours!

Thanks for the tip on Bazzite! Just to clarify, when you say 99% of drivers are included, does that mean I can set everything up without having to download additional drivers post-installation?
