I'm facing some persistent issues with Microsoft Teams while working from home on my Wi-Fi. This has been a problem despite my brand-new laptop being replaced by our Service Desk. The main issues I'm experiencing are: my video often freezes or looks pixelated during meetings, the audio cuts in and out, and when I share my screen, others only see a white screen. I've tested my internet speed and it's fast and stable, so bandwidth seems to be okay. Interestingly, I used the same Wi-Fi connection successfully in previous jobs, and when I switch from Wi-Fi to my work laptop's cellular SIM, Teams works perfectly. It feels like the problem is specifically linked to using Teams over my home Wi-Fi. I'd love any advice on what might be causing this, whether it could be related to router settings or firewall issues, as I can't troubleshoot these myself without admin access. Thanks for any insights!

It may be due to interference or placement of your Wi-Fi equipment. Check the upload/download speed you're paying for versus what you're actually getting. Also, try positioning your router away from electronic devices that could interfere with the signal, like TVs, and elevate it if possible.
It sounds like a network issue. Since Teams works on your SIM but not on Wi-Fi, try checking if your home network is the problem by testing Teams on a personal laptop too. If it works there, it might be a device issue. If it doesn’t, it’s likely something with your network configuration.
Your ISP or router could be mishandling the UDP traffic that Teams relies on, which explains why it works over cellular. Ask your IT to check the firewall rules and QoS settings on your router, or if possible, try a different router.
That makes sense! But since several people in the household are using the same network and only I'm having this issue, I'm confused. I've used this network successfully before too. Everything seems to point to my device.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did try it on my personal laptop, and it worked fine there. My family members are using the same network without any issues, which is puzzling.
