I'm having a frustrating issue with Chrome where it says that Google is trying to redirect me too many times whenever I search for something. I've already scanned my laptop for malware and didn't find anything suspicious. It seems like the problem might be linked to my uBlock Origin Lite extension since disabling it allows everything to work normally. However, I'd really like to keep using an adblocker. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get Google to work correctly with uBlock Origin Lite enabled?

Just a quick check: are you using a VPN? Sometimes, those can cause redirect issues because they may outwardly change your IP or the region settings.
Have you considered using Firefox instead? It generally has fewer compatibility issues with extensions than Chrome. Just a thought if you’re open to trying a new browser!
I’d appreciate some help with troubleshooting this issue instead of just telling me to switch to a different browser 🙂
You might want to check your uBlock settings. Sometimes, specific filters can cause redirection issues. Open uBlock, go to the 'Dashboard', and try disabling some of the aggressive filters temporarily to see if that helps.
Yeah, that’s a solid point! If disabling some filters works, you might need to add specific exceptions for Google to keep everything running smoothly.

Nope, I don’t use a VPN.
