I've been experiencing an annoying issue where my internet frequently disconnects when I try to access specific sites like Discord or play games such as Roblox. Most of the time, the connection drops right as I enter, and it takes anywhere from a minute to needing a complete restart of my computer to get it working again. I've noticed that this problem seems to occur mostly with high-traffic websites and games, while older games like World of Warcraft, especially those on less populated servers, don't seem to cause the same trouble. I'm looking for any suggestions or fixes to resolve this issue.

If you're losing your connection when opening apps like Discord or Roblox, I’d suggest checking if your router is struggling. You can ping your router (try pinging 192.168.1.1 -t) while you load one of those apps. If the pings start timing out, it’s likely that your router is crashing. Also, try to access the router's web interface when the internet goes down; if that’s slow or won’t load, it's probably overloaded. You could also test the games on another device. If the same problem happens there, then your router might be the culprit. Another good test is to bypass the router and plug directly into the modem. If that works fine, then you know the router is the issue.

I think it might just be your PC causing the problems. My phone stays connected just fine when this happens, and it hardly ever disconnects.
