Has anyone else struggled with getting a clear answer from AWS about DMS Serverless Replication pricing? I ran into a huge issue where it seems like you get charged for 48 hours no matter how long you actually use it. The documentation back when I set up replication didn't mention this at all; it just said you'd pay for what you use. I ended up with a bill of about $6500 for minimal usage! I filed a ticket, and they acknowledged the documentation was lacking, but they're dragging their feet on resolving my bill. It's just so frustrating considering how long this is taking!

I used to work as a TAM and I can confirm what this user is saying. Stay clear of DMS.
Avoid DMS at all costs! I've tried it multiple times and it’s constantly causing issues. It’s one of those services that I personally just can’t deal with anymore.
Yeah, I hear you. I've had a similar experience with DMS not living up to expectations. It failed for a database migration I was working on, and I've read others having issues too. It feels like AWS is making it our fault with all these poorly documented features.
Sounds about right with AWS lately. They really seem to leave customers in the dark with these undocumented limits. I’ve been waiting 7 months for a refund myself; it’s just ridiculous how long these processes take.
Seven months?! That’s insane. I can’t even imagine...
Sorry to hear about your experience! It’s tough dealing with support on these issues. Have you tried escalating your case ID? Sometimes going to a higher-up can speed things along. Good luck!

Totally agree! I’ve had my own share of headaches with it. The lack of documentation is so frustrating, and it takes ages to resolve issues. I'm still waiting on a refund request from months ago.
