I'm trying to figure out how to access streaming services like Netflix and Prime Video in full HD on my Linux system. This is the only thing holding me back from completely switching from Windows. What are my options?

You can stream directly in your browser, but it's not the best experience. Services like Netflix often limit you to 720p and lower bitrate if you're not using their dedicated app. They kind of assume all Linux users are pirates, which is unfair, right? So, if you want to enjoy the full potential of HD streaming, using their app is the way to go!
Totally agree! The app gives you that 'good' experience you can't get in a browser. It's like they're pushing you towards it for monitoring reasons.
