Getting Rid of Annoying Ads on a Samsung Phone

My mom recently uninstalled an unfamiliar coloring game from her Samsung S22, and now her phone is getting bombarded with ads out of nowhere. I checked with Norton and found nothing, and I deleted a bunch of old games. I even disconnected her from all networks, but the ads just keep coming. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Honestly, most antivirus apps for phones aren't that effective. This sounds more like a notification issue. Try going into your notification settings and revoking permission for all apps. After that, check your app menu and see what app was last installed. You shouldn't be getting malware this way on Android since the system has pretty tight restrictions on apps.

You should definitely check the 'app management' section in settings and look for any strange or blank apps. I had a similar situation before, and uninstalling that weird app fixed my phone completely.

Have you checked the browser's history, like in Chrome or Samsung's Internet app? Clearing the cache, cookies, and history might help since some websites can trigger those notifications. It sounds like that might be the source!

If all else fails, just back up the important stuff and do a factory reset! Just a heads up though, your title mentions iOS but you're on a Samsung S22, which is Android.
