My goal is to understand how observability can improve reliability, reduce downtime, and assist with troubleshooting in build and deployment pipelines. I just came back from a conference where it was mentioned that ‘observability’ is being replaced with ‘engineering intelligence.’ Seems like a buzzword shift, but whatever the name, you should check out resources from our internal developer portal, Port. Their dashboard might give you insights into what metrics are popular, aside from the usual DORA metrics. Definitely worth a look!
