Has anyone else experienced glitches after installing BlueStacks?

I'm having some serious issues with my laptop after downloading BlueStacks, and I'm starting to think I might have been hacked. Whenever I install it, my touchscreen seems to go haywire, as if someone is pressing all over it, and my fingerprint scanner stops working. I even factory reset my Acer Swift Go 14, but after reinstalling BlueStacks, the same problems came back. I'm looking for advice on whether anyone else has faced this problem and if it's linked to BlueStacks. I made sure to download it from their official website, so I'm puzzled about what's going on here. Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm almost certain you haven't been hacked! When I used BlueStacks frequently, I encountered similar problems after they updated the software. Random key presses were super common. Once I uninstalled BlueStacks, everything went back to normal. You might want to try removing it and see if that solves your touchscreen and scanner issues.

It sounds like the issue is more related to your BlueStacks settings or its compatibility with your laptop, rather than a hacking attempt. Typically, if someone hacks you, it wouldn’t manifest in glitches like this. Hackers usually use infostealers to obtain your data without any noticeable effects like touchscreen malfunctions. So, it’s very likely just a bug in BlueStacks causing the touchscreen and fingerprint issues.
