I'm curious about everyone's experiences with Spaceship. We tried buying a domain and had it in our cart, but after a couple of days, they ended up registering it themselves on the same day we added it to the cart. Even weirder, we could still see the domain in our cart as if we could purchase it, and it seems like they charged us for a domain that isn't even available. Their customer support hasn't been very helpful, just saying it's a common occurrence without giving us any detailed info. What do you all think about this?

I haven't used Spaceship myself, but I've seen others online calling them a scam or at least saying they engage in domain sniping. It's definitely worth checking WHOIS to see if the domain was actually bought by someone else after you added it to your cart. I'd probably stick with a more trusted registrar if I were you.
I've been using Namecheap for years without any issues, so I get being cautious. What's your experience been like with Porkbun instead?
