I've been an Ivanti customer for quite some time and have generally been happy with their services. This year, we budgeted to add IT Asset Management (ITAM) alongside some improvements to IT Service Management (ITSM). To avoid overspending on ITSM consulting, we requested an updated budget quote for ITAM from Ivanti. However, it's been two and a half months, numerous reminder emails, and we still haven't received a simple quote from them. This delay has raised some concerns for me. Is this a sign that something bigger might be happening at Ivanti, such as a potential acquisition or restructuring? Or do I just have an ineffective sales representative? I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences with Ivanti recently or if there are any Ivanti employees who can share some insights.

In my experience with ITSM, we worked with a third party for upgrades, but about 18 months ago, Ivanti began working directly with us. Instead of project-based work, we purchased a block of hours for general improvements, and it was much easier than going through the third party. They even offered a free migration to the cloud for our perpetual licenses, which was a nice gesture.
We switched from Ivanti after they experienced several zero-day vulnerabilities with Pulse Secure. Their appliances rely on outdated coding practices, making it too risky to stay with them, especially with potential future hacks.
Honestly, it feels like Ivanti is heading towards bankruptcy. You might want to consider looking for alternatives now before it's too late.
Just to note, you're likely overspending, especially if you think you can keep costs down. Ivanti isn't known for being the cheapest option out there, especially compared to competitors like ServiceNow.
I’d say skip their Mobile Device Management (MDM) and opt for Intune instead. It’s just a better option overall.
I actually should clarify that we mainly use Ivanti for their Service Desk tool and rely on Intune/SCCM for managing our PCs.

What I meant was I'm trying to avoid going over budget specifically on ITSM consulting while using Ivanti's services. I get that it's cheaper than ServiceNow, though.
