Having Issues with USB Hub and Power State Failure on My Laptop

I've been having this frustrating problem with my laptop. I use a USB hub to connect an external fan, a mouse, and a WiFi dongle. My WiFi dongle stopped working, so I disconnected it from the hub, but now my WiFi icon is completely gone, and reconnecting it doesn't help. Then, out of nowhere, my mouse stopped working too! Right now, my laptop is back to normal, but I've encountered the 'POWER_STATE_FAILURE' BSOD for the second time already, and it's really stressing me out. Sorry for any grammatical errors in my message.

You should check whether the devices work when connected directly to your laptop instead of through the USB hub. If they function correctly, it’s likely the hub is faulty. This is a common issue, especially with cheaper hubs.

I tried that earlier, but my mouse didn’t work when I plugged it directly in. And then I switched my mouse with the keyboard's port, and guess what? The keyboard stopped working too! Thankfully, my touchpad saved me. So I restarted the laptop, and it was stuck restarting for a few minutes before BSOD with that power state error. After that crash, it booted fine again and I even did a Windows update!
