I'm trying to create a bootable USB for Linux Mint following the installation instructions, but I'm hitting a wall with Etcher. After I open the app and select the ISO file, I see a red stop circle, and it won't let me select a target. It's just... frozen. Any idea what's going on?

For sure, Yumi or Ventoy are the way to go. Just remember to set the file system to exFAT, not NTFS. Yumi defaults to exFAT, so you should be good there, but Ventoy could vary based on the version you're using.
Have you tried Rufus? It's another great tool for creating bootable USBs. Might save you some trouble!
You might want to give Ventoy a shot instead. Etcher can be pretty flaky sometimes. It's often easier to use for creating bootable USBs.
I think I've finally got the bootable USB ready! But how do I access the BIOS on my Dell? I'm trying to restart and use Fn+F2, but it’s not working.
Just downloaded Ventoy, checked the SHA256, and installed it on my USB. Now I'm copying the ISO over!

Alright, I’m trying out Ventoy right now and figuring out this SHA hash check thing. Wish me luck!
