Hey everyone, I set up an AWS account for a college project, but I've hit a snag. I'm stuck at level 4 because I'm not receiving the SMS needed to complete the activation. Whenever I try, I just get an error saying, 'There was a problem processing your request. Please try again, and if the error persists, contact AWS customer support.' I submitted a support ticket a day after creating my account since their guide mentions it could take 24 hours for full activation. However, I'm still unable to finalize the account activation. I'm also unsure if there's an issue with the payment card I used. I can't find options for live chat or customer calls, so my only response channel is through the website.
**Edit:** I finally received a call from AWS support, and although I'm not sure what they did, I now have access to my account. Thanks, AWS!!!

I had a similar situation, and it took about two days for them to reply back then. Make sure you submitted your ticket properly. Also, it’s good to confirm there are enough funds in the card you used, just in case.

I’ve been waiting for over 10 days on a ticket and received nothing! I expected a response within 24 hours, but it’s still unassigned. Feels like no one is even looking at it.
Just a heads-up, your mobile device might have a spam folder for messages, especially if you’re using iMessage or something similar. Check your settings just in case! But if you're still seeing the error, definitely reach out to AWS support.

It’s a credit card, so it should work, right? I'm not even getting to that stage since I can't verify my account, and I’ve also been waiting two weeks for a response. A direct phone number would really help.
