I'm having a major issue logging into my AWS console since I've lost the mobile number linked to my account. I've got access to my email, password, and even my account number, but when I try to log in as the root user, I'm stuck at the mobile verification step. They call the mobile number and ask for a code, but since I no longer have that number, I can't proceed. I've reached out to AWS support, but all I get are links to their help docs, which don't address my specific problem. Any advice?

I totally get how frustrating this can be! If you haven't already, check out these troubleshooting steps I found that might help: https://go.aws/44ICzl1. If you're able to create a case with AWS support, please do so using this form: http://go.aws/account-support and send them your case ID if you have one. It might expedite the process! Good luck!

I checked those docs and they're outdated, particularly the MFA troubleshooting part. They don’t seem to guide you through this scenario anymore. It's tough! Maybe try other methods to reach customer support?
