I'm trying to help my girlfriend log into Minecraft using one of my alternate Microsoft accounts, but we're hitting a snag. When she tries to sign in on her PC, it's asking for a PIN that I don't remember setting up. I recently wiped my PC and had no issues signing in with those accounts before. There's no listed PIN to choose from in the sign-in options; the only methods available are password, SMS, or getting a code via email. Each time I attempt to create a new PIN, it just prompts me for the existing one, which just doesn't exist. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

It sounds like your account might have been compromised at some point. If someone else had access, they could've set a PIN without you knowing. But since you can log in with your password and access everything, that's a good sign. If you have proof of purchase, reaching out to Microsoft Support could really help.

I can log in fine, so I doubt it's been hacked. The missing PIN is what’s really puzzling me. I’m not sure why it’s asking for one that isn’t even set up!
