I've been having a frustrating issue with my headphones. They only connect to my computer if they're plugged into the aux port when I boot it up. If I unplug them and try to plug them back in while the computer is running, nothing happens—my computer doesn't even recognize that a device is connected, no matter how many times I check for hardware changes. I've been digging into possible solutions and discovered that if I disable Realtek Audio in the device manager, plug in my headphones, and then re-enable it, they connect just fine, just like before. However, uninstalling Realtek and rebooting doesn't solve the problem. The thought of downloading new drivers from Realtek is not appealing, as their download speeds are painfully slow. Could there be something else going on that's causing this issue?

Have you tried changing the output audio device in your sound settings? Sometimes it can get stuck on a different device, which might explain why it's not recognizing your headphones when you plug them back in.

I checked, but it's not showing up in the options. It just doesn't register anything when I try to reconnect.
