Help! AT&T DNS Problems Affecting Our Website

I'm experiencing some DNS issues specifically with AT&T. It seems that our main website and subdomains aren't resolving at all for users on AT&T's home internet. Interestingly, it works fine on AT&T mobile. I'm looking for any contacts or resources that could help me get this issue resolved. So far, every route I've tried has hit a dead end. Has anyone dealt with this before or know how to reach someone at AT&T who can help?

AT&T uses two pools of DNS servers: 68.94.{156,157}.1 and 68.94.{156,157}.11. In my experience, the .1 resolvers are generally reliable, but the .11 ones can be hit or miss. Try running tests against both pools using nslookup, it could shed some light on what you're dealing with. Also, check if your router has ActiveArmor enabled—sometimes that automatically connects you to less reliable DNS.

Regarding your home DNS settings, you can check what DNS is being used on your gateway. If you're in a pinch and just want reliable access, switching to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) can be an immediate fix. I totally understand the worry about clients being unable to access your site; it’s definitely a frustrating situation with AT&T!
