Help! Black Screen Issues After Installing NVIDIA Driver

I recently updated the driver for my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, and things have taken a turn for the worse. Normally, I don't have any issues, but during this installation, my screen went completely black in the middle, unlike the usual flickering I've seen before. My monitor acted as though nothing was connected, even though my keyboard and audio were still working fine. After restarting my PC and reinstalling the driver, I found that every time I open a game like Roblox, Valorant, or Apex, the black screen issue happens again. I've rolled back to the previous driver that worked fine for me for months, but the problem persists. I've done everything from trying out different drivers to reseating and cleaning the GPU, and nothing seems to work. I even ran FurMark and could only go for a minute before the screen turned black. If anyone has experienced this or has suggestions on how to fix it, I would really appreciate your help!

It sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my setup. When I shared my screen on Discord during a black screen, everything was paused until it briefly returned but zoomed in. It could be either a driver conflict or issues with hardware recognition. Have you checked if your GPU is seated properly and try connecting it to different ports if available? Also, what specific version of the drivers are you currently on?

Have you tried using the Game Ready driver instead of the Studio driver? Also, it’s super important to use DDU to completely uninstall the previous driver before installing a new one. Just installing over the old driver can cause issues. If you're still having trouble after that, reinstalling Windows might be your last resort, but I’d recommend that as a final option.
