I'm struggling to open the Camera settings on my Windows 11. Every time I try to access it either through Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera or via search, the window crashes instantly. This issue came up because my PimaxPlay software is not detecting my VR headset and requires 'Windows Camera Access'. When I attempt to open the settings from the app, I get this error: 'File system error (-2147219195)'. I'm running Windows 11 Home, fully updated (Version 25H2, Build 26200.x). I've already tried a bunch of fixes like running sfc /scannow, DISM, disk checks, changing USB ports, and even creating a new user account, but nothing has worked. What else can I try that doesn't involve doing a clean install of Windows?

It sounds like a broader permissions issue. Have you had any luck checking the Event Viewer for errors? Sometimes there are hidden clues there.
Have you tried removing and re-adding your camera in Device Manager? Sometimes re-registering the device can fix weird glitches like this.
Your update suggests that it's not just the camera settings causing issues but likely all app permissions. Have you tried resetting your permissions settings or troubleshooting the Settings app itself for any faults?
