I've been struggling with my Azure account since July 2025. Microsoft has blocked my access due to a multi-factor authentication (MFA) policy that they implemented. Even though I have MFA set up and working on my phone, I still can't log in or reach any of my Azure services. This is causing me a lot of technical issues and potential financial losses. I've opened a ticket with Microsoft but their support has been slow and unhelpful. I'm looking for a fast resolution, such as MFA resets, alternative verification methods, or any way to escalate this internally. If it continues, I want a refund for the downtime. Anyone else faced something similar?

It seems like you're dealing with a Conditional Access policy issue. First, when you open a ticket, they usually make sure you own the domain via DNS verification. Then, they contact all Global Admin accounts to log in, which doesn’t work if you're locked out. After 24 hours, they can disable the policy, and you'll be in a queue to get it sorted out. Make sure to set up a break glass account tied to a FIDO2 key after this is fixed!
That’s definitely frustrating! Unfortunately, Microsoft's support can be tough to deal with. If you need direct help, we specialize in these cases—just let me know if you'd like to discuss it further!
What kind of MFA did you set up? Microsoft is phasing out some legacy methods, so it might affect your access. You might not even see the security settings page to add another MFA option. Just a thought!
Have you thought about setting up a 'break glass' account for situations like this? It's crucial to have alternative access methods. It sounds annoying, and I hope you find a fix soon!
I feel your pain! We pay a ton for enterprise support, and it’s almost useless. Don't expect a lot from them, honestly.
I didn't think of that! I’ll definitely look into setting up a break glass account once I get back in.
