I recently installed Linux on my HP PC, but now I can't boot into Windows anymore. At first, my system said it was doing a disk check, but after that, whenever I select Windows from the boot options, I just get a black screen where I can move the cursor but nothing else happens. Has anyone experienced this? What can I do to fix it?

It sounds like you're partially getting into a broken Windows installation. It might be a good idea to reach out to Windows support forums for help. If you're looking to create a Windows installer or repair USB using Linux, you can use a tool called Ventoy. It's pretty user-friendly!
You could try using the Windows Media Creation Tool to make a bootable USB stick for Windows. Boot from that and run the automatic Windows Startup Repair. Your Windows installation is likely fine, unless you specifically told the Linux installer to overwrite it. Just be cautious next time and consider creating an additional EFI partition for Linux to avoid issues!
