Hey everyone, I'm having a tough time managing the fan speeds for my case and AIO fans in my newly built PC. I tried using the FanControl app, but it keeps telling me that my fans don't have RPM sensors, so I sought to adjust them directly in the BIOS. I set the fans to PWM mode there, and while I could increase their speed, once I exited the BIOS, the changes didn't stick. It's frustrating because my fans are running unnecessarily fast all the time. Just to give you more context, all my case fans are connected to a pre-installed hub; I plugged a 4-pin cable into sysfan1 and a 3-pin into argb v2_1. For my AIO, I used a single cable connector into CPU OPT and its ARGB connector into argb v2_2. The components I'm using are: ARCTIC LIQUID Freezer 3 240 Pro ARGB, GIGABYTE B850 EAGLE WIFI6e, and Antec C3ARGB Black. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you make sure to save the BIOS settings before leaving? If not, that could be the reason the fan speeds aren't adjusting when you exit.
Did you go through the setup process in FanControl properly? It usually combines all the RPM sensors and fan controls. If it’s not working, it could just be that your fans aren't recognized correctly.
I did check it out, but it told me my fans don’t have RPM sensors, and changing their speeds doesn’t work. It only responds to my GPU fans.
Just double-check if your fans are actually PWM compliant. Generally, yes, 4-pin fans are PWM, but there are exceptions. If your case fans aren’t PWM, you might run into issues controlling their speeds through the software.
I thought all 4-pin fans are PWM, but even if my case fans aren't, I should have control over the AIO fans.
Yeah, I saved the settings for sure.
