Help! Can’t Disable Integrated Graphics on My New PC Build

Hey everyone! I need some help with a PC build I did for my cousin. We can't seem to get a signal from the graphics card (MSI RTX 4080 Super) even though the fans are spinning and the lights are on. The HDMI is connected to the GPU, but the monitor just shows 'no signal.' I reached out to MSI tech support, and they suggested I turn off the integrated CPU graphics in the BIOS. However, when I checked the BIOS settings, the option to disable it is grayed out and set to 'Auto,' even though the primary video device is set to PCIe. Here are the specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix 650A Gaming WiFi. What should I do? Any advice would be appreciated!

How are you powering the GPU? Are you using the 12VHPWR cable directly from the PSU or an adapter? You might not be able to disable the integrated graphics if you're still connected to it.

I'm using the 12VHPWR cable that came with my Corsair RM850e 850W PSU.

Bad sensor pins in the 12VHPWR connector might be causing this issue. Make sure to use the adapter that should have come with your GPU and connect the 8-pin PCIe cables from your PSU into the adapter.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try that out.

It could be a monitor or cable issue as well. Make sure to test with a different monitor or HDMI/DisplayPort cable, just to be sure it's not on that end.

I tried several different HDMI and DP cables, tested on both my monitor and my brother's, but still no luck.

Have you tried testing the GPU in another machine? Sometimes it helps to rule out display issues that way.

I did test it on my own PC, but didn't get a signal there either. However, my old GPU worked fine in my cousin's PC.
