Help! Fresh Windows 11 Install with No Connectivity

I've just installed Windows 11 on a new drive with my ASUS X670E Plus WiFi motherboard, but I'm struggling to connect to the internet. I bypassed the setup's connection screen, hoping it would sort itself out. After rebooting, still no luck. In Device Manager, I see several devices, including the WiFi adapter, showing errors and the message "there are no compatible drivers for this device." I went back to my old drive with Windows installed, and everything works fine. I tried downloading the necessary drivers from the motherboard's site, but I keep getting an error saying they don't support this OS. I've checked event logs, and there's nothing helpful there. I can see the WiFi adapter trying to register, but it's just not happening. I'm really at my wit's end here. Anyone have any suggestions?

I had a similar issue, and I managed to get it working! Honestly, I didn't do anything different—just restarted a couple of times, and the drivers appeared by themselves. Sometimes, the system just needs a moment to sort things out. Good luck!

Have you considered doing a BIOS update? Since you have the X670E, it’s possible that your BIOS is outdated which could be causing compatibility issues with Windows 11. It’s worth checking if there’s a newer version available.

It sounds like you might need to download the WiFi and Bluetooth drivers directly from your motherboard's support page. If your PC can't get online, you could use another device to download them and transfer via USB, or use your phone as a hotspot to connect it to the PC. Don't forget to grab all other necessary drivers once you're up and running!

I tried that, but I keep getting errors when I install the drivers.
